Are your file uploads slow?
The observed upload rate is the real speed picsel receives from your device while you upload files. It can change with your connection, traffic on your network, and the route between your provider and our servers.
As a reference, under 5 Mbps is likely slow for large uploads. Photo and video files may take a long time even when normal browsing seems fast.
Try these steps
- Connect your device to the router with an Ethernet cable. It is usually the most stable option.
- If you use Wi-Fi, choose the 5 GHz network and move close to the router.
- Stop other uploads, heavy downloads, and cloud-service syncing.
- Temporarily disable your VPN and try the upload again.
- Try another time of day: networks can be congested during peak hours.
Test your connection
You can use Speedtest to measure the connection from your device. That result may differ from the upload speed to picsel because it uses a different route and may use a different server.
If the speed remains consistently low, contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to check your service.
